Mitsubishi Outlander priced at 15.5 Lakhs!

Mitsubishi Motors India will star in the fastest-growing SUV market when they launch the Mitsubishi Outlander. The Outlander is a very promising competitor to the CRV and the recently launched Chevrolet Captiva, and will be priced at an impressive 15.5-16L range. The Mitsubishi will be the cheapest 7-seater SUV next only to the Endeavour.

The Outlander will be pitted against the Captiva and the CRV though the price range is in the Endeavour and Grand Vitara range. The CRV being almost 20L and the Captiva at 18L, the Outlander is a real Value For Money.

The Outlander will be hosted with the latest features and will be powered by the popular 2.4L, 4 cylinder MIVEC petrol engine that produces 168bhp and torque of 226Nm. The petrol engine will also have a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifting. It will also have an electronically controlled 4WD system. The Outlander will create battle between the petrol SUV's.

The rear is really unique as it might be the first car in India with a tail light other than red, if i am right, it has LED tail lights. The look is seriously modern. The interiors of the Outlander is really impressive.

The Mitsubishi Outlander is definitely a worthy SUV to its competitors, but when it comes to service and all those it falls back. But there will be a serious increase in quality of their after sales, because Mitsubishi is planning on many models in the coming years and they would like to keep their dealers and service stations ready. The Outlander will be released in August.
