Ford India had introduced a new series line-up that will offer customers the stuff they need in a car. They will provide their customers with new extras fitted and extreme performance and drivability. This is another step taken by Ford to keep the Fiesta live in the growing segment.
The company replaced its 1.4ZXI with a more powerful 1.6L ZXI variant. The base of this series will be Rs5500 more from the earlier variant of the car. Fords three variants priced aggressively - 1.47 EXi, 1.6ZXI and 1.6SXI would be priced at 5.93L, 6.2L and 6.9L respectively.
And for the Diesel line-up, Ford has upgraded it too. The 3 Variants 1.4EXI, 1.4ZXI and 1.4SXI would be priced 7.03L, 7.49L and 8.09L repectively.
The new Fiesta line up will have the new features

- Stylish indicators on the sideview mirror
- ABS for the top end version
- 6CD Changer with 6 speakers
- Leather upholstery
- key-less entry
- Electric boot release
- Driver seat height adjustment.
- Chrome twin headlamps
- Metallic painted finish centre console
- Rear Defogger
- Foldable rear seats
- Distance to Empty (DTE) which shows how many Kms you can go before refuelling

Even with all these new features Ford Fiesta is not a good buy.
1. What's the point in providing only driver side airbag?
2. The 6 CD changer in SXI doesn't play mp3 and it doesn't have AUX input for connecting external mp3 players like iPod. So you are into music and wish to connect your iPod, you'll need to upgrade the deck.
3. It doesn't come with alloys and the tires provided are undersized for the power the Fiesta has. So after delivery, you'll need to spend money on Alloys and better tires.
Yep.. he's right by his part..
By what its competition is offering i think Ford should have done better and in most cases.. the drivers are driving the car and if accident occurs the driver is saved but the owner is injured :( and the MP3.. thats bound to be true..
