Hyundai Motors To Launch 1.5Lakh Car

A segment, 4 years later will be full of choices. By 2012, many manufacturers of cars, as well as bikes will be launching its low cost cars in India including Tata, Nissan, Bajaj, Honda, Chevrolet and now even Hyundai motors. Hyundai Motors unveiled their plans to roll out the low cost car by 2012 which will cost almost 3500 USD, which is about 1.5L in Indian Rupees.

Hyundai motors Managing director said "It will take at least 4 years to develop the car and we think we will be able to introduce this car by 2012 for Indian market". The car is currently being researched and will be developed in Korea.

However, Hyundai Motors said that they have no expectations to compete against the Tata Nano. Hyundai Motors is peddled up for its major release of the Hyundai i20 in India along with LPG version of Santro and Accent. By 2012, we will have a fully fledged, high quality, low-cost, traffic jam.
