Tata's new small car - Tata X4

Tata Motors are at the top of the news everywhere.. Buying Jaguar and Land Rover, Making the Tata Nano, buying a stake MV Agusta,etc.. after all this Tata will be making another small car that will be slotted between the Nano aka the One Lakh Car and the Indica. Tata motors would like to do this as fast as they could, since they are planning to launch many cars by the next 2 years.

The new small car codenamed X4 would be priced in the range of 2.5-3L and is likely to be launched before the beginning of the new decade. The price range shows that the car would be taking the MS WagonR, MS Alto, MS Zen estilo, Chevrolet Spark and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki A-star. This segment is densely crowded and Tata motors would like to enter as soon as possible.

It is still a question if Fiat will be giving a hand on the making of the X4. By the launch of the Nano and the X4, Tata has to build many dealerships and factories to meet the demands.
