Hyundai i10 here in India

Here it is in India - the Hyundai PA, or should i say the "i10" as it will be known from now on. The 1st of November is here and Hyundai i10 is released with Bollywood's big superstar - Shah Rukh Khan, being the brand ambassador of the i10. Here we are with another article and this time with more and more pictures.

The i10 is first launched in India, and then it will be the time when it gets exported from our country. This car is completely different from what we get from the manufacturers today, it will the first in its segment to get the latest and international features like sunroof,etc..
Engine, Power and transmission

It is launched in just 1 engine, i.e with a 1.1L iRDE (Intelligent Responsive Drive Engine) and was made to create maximum output. This is a Santro engine, with really imaginative and innovative thoughts and tuning to keep the i10 a generation ahead of what the Santro is. It gives out an output of 66Bhp.

The i10 comes with a first in class console mounted gear shift. This is a great way, it will give a sportiness feel and is better from causing strain or pain in the arm.

Design and Safety Features

The i10 style is also really appealing, and much much better from the Santro. Always starts from the logo which is fitted with surroundings of chrome and grille is pretty small, come down a little, you can see it as a big mouth, Fog lamps are also a feature of the front. The side is a little boring though, its just plain door. They could have spiced up a little bit with curvy lines and a little of chrome.

The rear has a Getz look, spoilers and rear wipers are also a feature. There is also another first in class sunroof for the i10 in the top end class which is not found in any other car in its category, not even in the next segment, but the top end class would cost you about 4.9 Lakhs, and that too for a 1.1L engine. Dual airbags along with seat belt pretensioners are also provided for the front passengers, and ABS also for a good grip on the road
Interiors and Comfort

The interiors are too amazing, it looks well fitted and modern.The seat and headrest comes in one, a lot of features like floor tray and big door pockets to accommodate your maps and books, power windows for comfort and height adjustable rear headrest and fully integrated 2-Din Audio System with Mp3 compatibility that gives the thump while you enjoy the drive.

The interiors are well placed with a combination of beige and plastic black. One thing that reminds of the Santro is the flower shaped instrument cluster. The overall look of the interiors are great and they do impress many from the competitors. Hyundai is moving forward.
Verdict:

A car that starts from 3.3L to 4.9L has s exteriors and plush interiors with all features required and great comfort, with attractive price, who wouldn't like to buy one. The competitors would like to watch out and give out discounts. Go for it if you re ready in that price range.
